Some people only want to join in your cause once they see-think you are going to win because are too afraid it will cost them something. These types don't suffer alongside you while you are building or working on your victorious destiny so their commitment to you is very shallow, only wanting to become a part of the "win".A Good Lookout Report
v16 Saul's Lookouts...saw the army melting away in all directions. v18 Saul said..."Bring the Ark of God."
Destiny is furthered by God's Presence, which has a way of sending enemies into total confusion to where they turn to fight themselves to where we see, even understand, that the Battle is the LORD's (1 Sam 17:47), and He will rescue us just like the LORD rescued Israel (v23).
