v3 The people believed that if they brought the Presence of God into where they were that they would be saved from their enemies.v5-7 When the Presence of God had entered the place all the people (Israel) raised such a great shout the ground shook & the enemy heard it and learned that the Presence of God (Ark) had come so the enemies (Philistines) were afraid so fought even harder than they would have normally.
The enemy walks about seeking someone to devour (1 Pt 5:8) so don't think it strange concerning the uncomfortable situations which try us as though some strange thing is happening to you (1 Pt 4:12), knowing the genuiness of our faith is being tested since it is more precious than gold which perishes (1 Pt 1:7). After we pass the Jms 2:22 test (faith-in-action) in the area of our soul that is being tested, we will see our soul prosper due to the passing of the test (3 Jn 2) inwhere we will receive the end of our faith in that area and the salvation of our soul (1 Pt 1:9) in that area of our lives which will promote us from the level of faith into the highest level of love~ The best place to be.Now these 3 remain ~ Faith, Hope, Love
