v4 After living in Jordan for nearly a decade Naomi's husband and 2 sons had died so she instructed her 2 daughers-in-law (v8) to "Go back to your mother's home and... 
(v9) may the LORD grant that each of you will find rest in the home of another husband." 
Then Naomi kissed them and they wept aloud...
v14 but Ruth clung to Naomi and (v16) replied, "Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you.
Where you go i will go and where you stay i will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. (v17) May the LORD deal with me, be it ever so severly, if anything but death separates you and me."~And so love allowed nothing to separate.
...I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalites nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Ro 8:38-9
