Not Micah the minor prophet but some other Micah heard his mother say about the money he gave her:

           "I solemly consecrate my silver to the LORD for
                my son to make a carved image and a cast idol."
                       What is that?

 

v6  In those days Israel had no king; everyone did as he saw fit.

          Talk about fighting for your opinion...

  


     *So if you do what you want but there is no king then
         technically isn't there just a bunch of kings...?

              

                         ~Good thing we're not in "those days" anymore
