v17 The priests who carried the Ark of the Covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan, while all Israel passed by until the whole nation had completed the crossing on dry ground.

  The priests (those dead to self, alive to Christ) who carried (the presence of God) the Ark of the Covenant of (Father God) the LORD stood firm (on Jesus) on dry ground (for Jesus shall grow up before Father as a tender plant, & as a root out of dry ground {(Isa 53:2).

Crossing the Jordan was a sign of Jesus' implanting & that Jesus is planted in the heart, the middle of our being (Jms 1:21) where} in the middle of the (dry earth)Jordan...all Israel passed (the refining process & will be saved in 1 day).  {Symbolic usage- Jacob is the flesh name/nature of Jacob, after Jacob overcame and received his name change He became renamed "Israel" or 'He who will rule as God' ...when you are dead to self alive to Christ that's what you look like even though we all know it is still you who is actually hidden in Christ, the Christ now stepping out of you to share Himself with others.}  Even after the name change sometimes God called him Jacob, sometimes calling him Israel, maybe because it depended upon what nature he flipped in and out of.  All Israel passed by until the whole nation had completed the crossing {the implantation of Jesus (Jms 1:21)} on dry ground {earth, creation (of man) made from the dust of the earth (Gen 2:7)}.

  The Whole Nation (out of every tribe, tongue, kindred) had completed the crossing.  The Presence of Christ Jesus=Wholeness.  Jericho, the Moon Vision crossing is about the 7=complete cycle of wholeness to drop all inner walls, inner fears and insecurities, the circle of life that offered the shout of Praise to Thank Father God for the Miracle of Wholeness in Christ Jesus.
