v1 Then Moses climbed Mt. Nebo from the plains of Moab (Modern Day Jordan) to the top of Pisgah, across from Jericho (to be shown the land).

 v1-8 ...there (while on top of Mt. Nebo) the LORD showed Moses the whole land saying...This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob... I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross over into it.  And Moses died (120yrs old) in Moab... The LORD buried Moses in Moab but to this day no one knows where his grave is.  Along with leading the masses out of bondage, the (v8) eyes of Moses were not weak nor his strength gone even up until the day he died.
