We ended up in a car wreck December 14, 1985. While driving under the influence of wrong substances, Mike's truck hit a patch of ice and we nearly went over the short embankment where below layed a very small creek. We had to have help pulling the truck away from the dangerous position. After everyone piled out of the Black Chevy i fell on a patch of ice and cut my knee where instead of taking me home we end up at his house... in even more sin... welllaaaa the sinful relationship begun.

...truth is, Mike called up one day wanting to go out before the night of this car wreck, before we both had other boy/girl -friends but something about him scared me so didn't want to, didn't even want to be caught dead with him so in a very kind way, redirected this effort even though we only lived 2 miles apart.
After relation started, we spent much time at his uncles house where he lived.
Uncle Bob, horse, Cindy & Mike (highschool dating days). 
We had 5th hour class together and hung around the same senior class friends.
17yrs oldIt was very lonely for me after he graduated since the circle of friends had already graduated. Due to our backgrounds, the relation was one of co-dependency, it was not rooted in love or true friendship it was rooted in sex sin and manipulation. The emotional wounding ran very deep on both sides from childhood wounds so out of starvation we hung together like glue, always doing everything together, looking on the surface like fairytale love and highschool sweathearts.
Right out of highschool we married, not because he had to because of getting me pregnant- no i've never had an abortion or miscarriage, there was no reason why not to get married, in the level of worldly knowledge that we knew, it's what you do.

It is amazing how the hand of God is on your life before You even serve Him, know Who He is and love Him... Mike had no relationship with his dad. After getting home one day there was this note with a number to call his dad back. Everyone freaked out. We didn't even know where his dad lived? Mike called the number. It is not his dad's number at all! It was a stranger in Texas. We find Robert's number. He is living in Texas. When Mike asked Robert about calling him his dad had no knowledge of it and did not make the call. It was divine intervention. Mike was the hard core sinner so God truly does love His enemies (Matt 5:44), working to help them heal even when we don't know about it. Now he was scheduled to be married, it is here where the relationship started back up again, the wedding was the 1st time he'd seen his dad in years.
Grandma Connie & MomConnie is my biological father's mother. Even though he was absent in most of my years, she never left the picture so we had a regular relationship- kind of weird or unique if you think about it, but she was very responsible, and felt bad for Chuck's behavior. She didn't like the emotion of rejection and never wanted a child to feel unloved because she knew only too well what that felt like.
Mike and i have been through hell and high water and more hell than high water. After a year of marriage i wanted a divorce. My Mom told Mike that if he wanted to save this marriage he better get into church! He listened. In the same altar call to accept Jesus into our hearts and receive the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in new tongues, both of us went down and we both got it at the same time... Salvation and Sanctification are a process and it seems like the more you know about sin the longer it takes because if you are at all difficult to work with because of being stubborn or opinionated to where you don't like to be told what to do or what to change then taking longer than necessary is usually what happens, especially if there are a lot of deep wounds. Time needs to be there to get healthy enough to function inside of God's Life.
Eph 5:18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery (corrupt morals). Instead be filed with the Spirit.
One mistake we made, which is ok cause you do what you know to do, it's all you can do... is we put each other in the role of hope and healer to feel complete or feel whole and complete. This is false and didn't work. From experience, what did work is accepting v5 as Truthful Practice... Love the LORD God with all your heart, soul, and strength. Once God was allowed to be the Person He is as my Inner-Healer, He could lead me into True Healing. There were many bad memories that He helped sort out.
After so much intervention from Father God, Who has been More Than Enough, what do we do today after being together for almost 22 years... Well...

Mike has gray hair 
. Which he loves because of this prophecy that was spoken over him concerning his hair... God can be very Creative..... imagine that. Mike has been given a company named: Integrity Restoration Ministries, Inc. so is busy with that. It's also his last day to be 39.April 2008
Cindy girl works many hours in our home office with Blue. This isn't my last day to be 39 and i color my hair. Mike's desk sits directly behind me in this picture. We both have to have our own desk and our own computers ! We Work Together
