Patterns
Leviticus foreshadowing Revelation...pastureland around the towns that you give the Levites (priests) will extend out 1500 feet from the town wall. Outside the town measure 3,000 for each side (north, south, east, west) with the town in the center. The priest can live in town and use the pastureland to feed his flock.

Revelation 21:16 The New JerusalemThe city is laid out as a square; it's length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: 12,000 furlongs. Its length, breadth, height are equal.
Both Testaments are saying the same thing about how God's Divine Power, Ruler, and Authority, are what caused the priest (us) to be able to feed the flock (each other) from an appointed place of rest (15=rest / New Jerusalem). As we live in the center of town (or in our heart, the center), we have overcome high walls through His Deity (#3) and reached a place of rest (#15) as the Sheep of His very own Pasture (Ps 95:7).
