Distribute the land by lot, according to your clans. To a larger group give a larger inheritance, and to a smaller group a smaller one...
Fairness doesn't necessarily mean everything or everyone is treated exactly 
the same. Father's derivative towards fairness stems from meeting the need. When the need is met that is fairness. This is why coveting is such a stupid idea... can't live on less but wouldn't know what to do with more. To understand contentment is to have the need made known then met, making rest in God 
much easier.
