Seeing JC
Yes Blue Ch 24 Numv1 Balaam bowed his knee and stopped resorting to witchcraft when he'd seen how it pleased the LORD to bless Israel. The Spirit of God would then come upon Balaam, open his eyes, to the point that Balaam could now see Jesus Christ.
Nothing Else Matters
The Oracle of one whose eye sees clearly
v17 I see Him (Jesus Christ), but not now; I behold Him (JC), but not near. A Star will come out of Jacob; a Scepter will rise out of Israel. (Balaam is able to see Jesus in a vision but knew he wasn't looking at someone from his own generation. Balaam was captured by the vision of Jesus' Face but knew he was not like someone standing right in front of him). This is what spiritual vision is capable of doing, it can peer into the future to see Life and bring that picture of Life back into "today" to bring hope for all those around. Jesus is the Bright & Morning Star (Rev 22:16). He is the STAFF that arose out of Israel to BLESS. The Government will be upon Jesus' Shoulder (Isa 9:6). His Rulership will consist of Being a Wonderful Counselor & Mighty God, an Everlasting approachable Father and Prince of Peace with plenty of peace to go around. His Government will increase and there will be no end to it (v7). Once Balaam could see a clear picture or vision from the Almighty, he learned that God Almighty's own vision is Christ Himself, and he fell prostrate.
The oracle of Balaam son of Beor, the oracle of one whose eye sees clearly, the oracle of one who hears the words of God, who has knowledge from the Most High, who sees a vision from the Almighty, who falls prostrate, and whose eyes are opened: v15-16
