2nd Update Step-Dad
Thanks Blue
Don't Worry, Be Happy
John
Well Glory to God, guess what He's been doing...? Christy called at 10pm after visiting dad in the hospital Saturday night with some very Good News!
Doctors successfully removed life support ventilator, he's back on regular oxygen bottle breathing. Before being admitted in hospital he was on oxygen bottles 24/7 due to the lung cancer so this is not bad news. He is no longer in critical condition and will be moved to another floor that doesn't require moment to moment Nurse care. He ate Jello and Brats all by himself and had a bowel movement. He went from 6-8 IV bags down to only 3. He gets 6 insulin shots per day right now to maintain blood sugar level and this is expected to change for the better also. Doctors will soon start him in rehab as all patients from that floor who have been on life support must do to retrain the body since it was completely dependant on a machine to do all the breathing. He is on a high dose of steriods and the prescribed antibiotic is still working into the lung to kill psuedomonas. Overall, this is nothing but God's Favor because of the condition he was in.
Thank You Jesus, You're Such a Sweetheart! Many Great Blessings to You, Dad, and God!
