John Jimmy
Around 6:26pm (3.06.08) Jimmy (b-in-law) called to tell me my step-dad (John) is in the emergency room, he was having difficulties breathing. When he was here in STL for Christmas he was doing pretty good considering the lung cancer. When this was discovered, he had already been mobile inspite of one collasped lung which has since been healed and reinflated. He did go through Radiation and Chemotherapy simultaneously however the mass in the right lung remained. Surgery was avoided for safety reasons, the tumor had grown into the esophagus. Yes, he was a life-long smoker for whatever reason. Last night Doctors put him into a coma-induced state and hooked him up to life support, finally figuring out that it wasn't a blood clot as originally suspected, it was double pneumonia in the same lung as the tumor. It is not a pretty story and does not look good at this point.
After the phone call with Jimmy all i could feel in the Spirit was anxiety in my heart that didn't belong to me and i couldn't keep from crying so Mike held me while the Holy Spirit took over with deep weeping and deep wailing in intercession. I don't know what this means but it came from a place very deep inside. There are many things i want to say but don't feel this is the right time. Christy is on her way home from Oklahoma City and i'll be headed out to Tulsa, gone for a few days.
Please remember to hug somebody you love today.
