Eating With You Blue  v7-8 Lev Ch 21

v7-8... priests are holy to their God... they offer up the food of your God.

We live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God (Deu 8:3).  This Spiritual food/direction is what the Holy Spirit uses to direct our steps (Pr 16:9).  Jesus is the Word (Jn 1:14).  Words are Voices (Ps 29).  Life is a voice.  Death is a voice.  The contrast here is that spoken word will shape us into Life or Death (Pro 18:21) as we embrace them.  Our daily shaping will form our person as we embrace the messages of salvation (Heb 1:7, 14) or embrace principles that crush us (Ep 6:12).  The principles that crush us have been defeated (Gn 3:15, Mt 24:22, Heb 2:8, Col 2:14) but death will use deception to try to bring us back under its power which will cause us to enter the battle for the mind even though we know deep inside that we have been freed by Christ Jesus.  Start resisting the enemy until he flees (Jms 4:7) even though it momentarily feels miserable, the Victory of Christ will rise to the surface (Rev 12:11) and joy will be retained (Ro 14:17).
