Land
Blue v24-28 Lev Ch 18
v24 Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways (sleeping around with your relatives), because this is how the nations that i am going to drive out before you became defiled. Even the land was defiled; so I punished it for its sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants... v27 for all these things were done by the people who lived in the land before you, and the land became defiled.
Do i have a sign attached to my forehead?
v28 And if you defile the land, it will vomit you out as it vomited out the nations that were before you.
?
Have you ever driven past a restaurant or parcel of land and just knew that it wasn't going to be there very long or that something just wasn't right about it? This happened before while living in O'Fallon where a popular chain opened a new restaurant and another time in Springfield when a Chinese Restaurant opened a new course buffet. Can remember saying that something is wrong with the land, there's some curse on it, and its not going to last cause whatever it is hasn't been repented for yet (though unaware of what that curse was, or what sin had been committed and not repented for so that Father God could lift the curse and pour out blessing there, just knew that it felt like cursed property and whoever tried to build or establish something there would fall under the effects of that curse). Sure enough, after time passed both places were closed down or had changed hands. There seemed to be different levels of blessing (or curse, however you want to look at it) on the 2 different locations. In the O'Fallon location it felt like nothing should have been there at all and no matter who built or opened something there it wasn't going to work out profitably. In the Springfield location, it was on a main road near a busy mall, and it had felt like it was ok to operate but whoever did would probably get a few years before the curse would override only to leave its owner in the same experience that it left its last owner.
The best to do is call on God to reveal what sin cursed the land and ask Him if He's willing to forgive it? Then ask Him to give the person who can stand in the gap who'll pray repentance from the heart so that the curse may be lifted and the damage may go into a reversing process. Healing takes time so if there's no patience then obtaining results will be difficult, it just depends on how bad you want what you want...?
