Blue v1-4 Ch 12 LevLife--------7th day----------8th, New Covenant---------33 Promise
v1...a woman who becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son will be ceremonially unclean for 7days, just as she is unclean during her monthly period. v3 On the 8th day the boy is to be circumcised. Then the woman must wait 33 days to be purified from her bleeding.
7=Completion. You wonder how come you are considered unclean for birthing life? It's kind of weird but i think this is more so showing the salvation then the sanctification process because even in New Covenant Believer, you receive the gift of Life (get born again) by the implanted Word (Jm 1:21) but the Word at this point (even Jesus said it in Red Letters) must be protected and must eventually show (matt 7:16) some fruit (since you don't suddenly forget how to be sinful just because of saying a sinners prayer- you will be tested (Ps 7:9)many times in whatever area the LORD has for you while He shapes the relationship). The parable of the Sower-Seed (Matt 13:18-23) is basically Him being planted in you and your ability to trust while growing up in (Ro 8:14) Spirit and becoming the Son of God that is lead by the Spirit of God, not just logos written word. Pharisees had logos-written only, there was no salvation in having only 1/2 the formula (James 2:22, 24). They believed but not really (Jn 5:46-47), not enough to act on the circumcised heart so the real fruit Jesus had wanted to see was not there. They wanted just to look good not be good, which is why condemning was easy for them, they were guilty in heart of the very things they condemned in someone else. This is usually how it goes with accusation, when you accuse, you are usually capable of this same sin if not doing it already. When Jesus shared that He looks on the heart, He really does, and knows that you would do what they are doing but are not actually brave enough to go do it like they are. A blind person doesn't know he is sinning but when you think you see, maybe you really don't, and maybe all the picking on them is because they are a mirror for you and you are really seeing yourself? It is possible... It's not always 100% the case but anytime the relationship is not there yet the attempt to help is to try and fix somebody, it probably is. Even Apostle Paul had a relationship with the churches that he went around to feed and correct, he was given spiritual authority with them and they were given access to him when he was there. 
8=New Beginnings. Circumcision speaks to New Covenant Believer on level of the sign to take acts/deeds/thoughts of flesh then cut them out of the heart so its free to flow in Love. Heard once on TBN that the 8th day is medically the safest day to cut foreskin and promote the healing for it had something to do with the blood (count) or the ability to fight infection well because the count was most high, something like that? Would love to hear about it again... because everything God does is on purpose, for good reasons, will always promote life.
33=Promise... Jesus is our Promise, we wait on Jesus, His Promises, and if we become unclean in any way in New Testament, we would be doing the same as the natural example of this lady in the Old Testament.. Wait for God's Promise to fix the problem.
