Blue v1-7 Ex 17   daddy

OT Saint
v3 Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to make us & our children & livestock die of thirst?

NT Saint
Why did You make me move?  If it's such a promotion why is it so inconvenient?
Why did You "call" me if nothing's going to happen?

Modern Interpretation
...y did u say u would deliver me when i don't feel delivered?

Manager to Owner
v4 What am i to do with these people?

Owner to Manager
v5 walk on
    take some board members
    take your gifts/talents with you
v6 Father will stand by Jesus at the place of your desolation
hit Jesus & water will come for people to drink

v6 I (Father) will stand there before you (prophetic mouthpiece) by the Rock (Jesus) at Horeb (H#2722 desolation).  Strike the Rock (Jesus), and water (Word/Direction/Cleansing) will come out of it (Jesus) for the people to drink (drink this water-Jesus Christ- and you'll never thirst again).  So Moses (mouthpiece/intercessor/minister) did this in the sight of the elders (other leaders) of Israel (H#3478 of his posterity/future generations (God's children).

*Why is it that we do not think we are hurting the Lord when we chose to complain instead of be grateful for what we have & where we are going?  He is invisible so we think He doesn't let Himself feel our pain or be touched with the feelings of 'our infirmities.'

He is our Supplier, True.  But would we talk to our own parents so disrespectfully?  Parents may want to spank us for testing them like this because the message sent is the same...

OT Saint:  v7 Is the LORD among us or not?
NT Saint:  Are YOU going to help me God or not!?

It's Rude.  Understanding that Father is a GOOD Parent, He would ask, "Do you really believe (think) I'd let you starve when I own everything?  Will you now, My Child, indirectly accuse Me of being evil?"  "Taste now and see that the LORD is GOOD!  My Plans are to prosper you and give you a future.  Trust Me Little One.    I Love You.  Purify your motive and come to Me, you who are weak and heavy laden, and see that My yoke is easy, My burden is light."
