...the whole Israelite community grumbled against Moses & Aaron (again).

~v6 & 20  The community still didn't know it was Father God (OWNER) who saved them out of bondage (sickness, financial mess, saved from being fired).

The Test
v4 The LORD (OWNER OF COMPANY) tells Moses (THE MANAGER) that He will rain down bread from heaven (LIFE SUPPLIES) to go out each day (TO DO YOUR JO)and gather enough for that day (PRODUCING FRUIT).  (OWNER) will test you to see if you will follow His Instructions that (YOU MAY BE PROMOTED AFTERWARDS).

~v6  So Moses (THE MANAGER) and Aaron (HIS SUPERVISOR) said to all the Israelites (EMPLOYEES), "In the evening you will know that it was the LORD who brought you out of Egypt, and in the morning you will see the Glory of the LORD, because he has heard your grumbling against him. (Kind of a nice thing for the LORD to do under the grumbling circumstances.  When you "know" someone helped you, and "believe" they really did, you can't at the same time find fault to complain against them.) 

~v10  While Aaron (THE SUPERVISOR) was speaking to the whole Israelite community (EMPLOYEES), they looked toward the (LAST PLACE TO LOOK) desert, and there was (THE REWARD) the Glory of the LORD appearing in the cloud.

v15  It is the bread the LORD (OWNER) has given you to eat.

Learning the Hardway
~ Ouch! v20
...some of them paid no attention to Moses (THE MANAGER); (they didn't follow v4 instructions); they kept part of it until morning, but it was full of maggots and began to smell.  So Moses (THE MANAGER) was angry with them.

~why did some not listen to Moses? (THEIR MANAGER)
~their reward for disobedience was maggot in their food (NO FRUIT/JOY/PROMOTION).
~why learn the wrong way when you could just listen?

After having learned

after Moses (THE MANAGER) gave another command (COMPANY ASSIGNMENT/ORDER/RULE) they obeyed and saved it til morning and there were no maggots in the food.
