~After the LORD taught His Israelite children what He does with forgiven sin, i.e. He put it on the ocean's floor. And what is done to keep them there, i.e. cover them with Water (cleansed by the water of washing by the Word), the natural response would be to sing a praise song. He who offers (this) praise glorifies Me (Jesus Christ) says the LORD.
v1) I will sing to the LORD, for He is highly exalted. (what caused His exaltation?)
v1 The horse (human power) and its rider (operating in sinful nature)
v1 He has hurled into the sea (pride is being humbled and thrown to the ground)
(satan is always thrown down to the earth like this)
v2) The LORD (tetragrammaton- Father God, His relational Name) is my strength and my song;
v2) He has become my salvation (notice it is Father and not Jesus that became Salvation)
WHY?
*You must come through Jesus to get to Father God. Jesus, the humanity side, the flesh side, will deal with the tutoring of law that is used to point You to Your need for a Heavenly Father. Once You overcome the law of condemnation through Jesus, You will enter the Ministry of the Spirit (1 Cor 3) and grow to know Your Heavenly Father more.
The spirit of prophecy and testimony of Jesus will be seen in the singing song later as prophetic revelation/direction...
Jesus had been slain before the foundation of the world. This manifested first in the Spirit, in Heaven, then Matthew 6:10 happened, and Father's Will happened on earth as it already happened in heaven, when He sent the WORD, Jesus, Father's LOGOS with Father's Spiritual Life-Giving RHEMA WORD that became a Flesh Body to dwell alongside us or amongst us. What we are trying to do is get Him not just alongside of us, on the outside only, but inside of us that we may have a new Born Again Spirit so that we may be "in the world but not of it." The world is simply the practice of your flesh nature in the sense of pride, or not forgiving people, or hating and being very angry all the time, not showing kindness or thinking always of yourself first. The spirit you have now does all this stuff but it hides the motive so you think you are being good. But you're still being evil because the motive is not coming from the Born Again Spirit of Love and Caring. We operate in deceit when we have to try so hard to be nice. When you just have a good Spirit, it's not hard.
~ Heaven came to Earth. Inside of Jesus is Christ, the Anointed One, this is the Spirit of Father God, or what we call the spirit of prophecy and testimony of Jesus, or what we call the Spirit of LOVE. Jesus Himself said that there is One that is Greater than I. He also said I and My Father are One. How can You be in both positions without contradicting? Since He is also GOD? How can anyone be greater if You are already God? When Jesus looks at His Humanity side, it is not as great as His Spirit-of-Father-God-side. Jesus was saying that His flesh or earthly life is not as great as His Spirit and Spiritual Life, the Life inside of Him, which is the Life of His Father God. Jesus would look inside His Life and see what His Father was doing and He would follow Him, follow His Inner Spiritual Life that is The Greater One. Father is the Greater One. He is Spirit. When Jesus rebuked Peter He said, "You don't know what spirit you are of." The human body is flesh. Father puts His Spirit in flesh. Now You are the Temple of the Holy Spirit. If Adam and Eve would not have fallen, we all today would (as long as nobody else did it) would still have the Holy Spirit within us. When the fall happened, Adam & Eve's Spirit became black spirit, dark spirit, fallen spirit. Jesus died for this mistake. He offered up His Life, He sowed His Life-Giving Spirit that He may reap Life-Giving-Spirit. Whatsoever "A MAN" sows that shall HE also reap. He had to come as a man, a Man full of Grace and Truth to reap this for us. And the reason He could do it in our place is for the same reasons that Adam could cause us all to fall. BECAUSE GOD SAID SO! It's always about what GOD says. He always Sees us as One. Jesus is the Last Adam. It's done! It's over. Jesus Won! Your flesh nature, full of a good Spirit is being given back to You that You may Live Life and Live it more abundantly. Embrace it by Faith. Then praise with Miriam and the others:

terror and dread will fall upon them (unrepented sinful state).
By the Power of Your Arm (Father's Authority)
they (the enemy) will be as still as a stone (Isaiah calls it the line of confusion & stones of emptiness
34:11, we are to be living stones 1 Pt 2:5)
until Your people pass by O LORD,
until the people You bought pass by (prophetic revelation/direction how Christ Jesus died/rose for us)
You will bring them in and plant them
(we are the planting of the LORD)
on the mountain of Your inheritance (prophetically reveals how Christ "Reaped" us)
the place, O LORD, You made for Your dwelling, (speaks of when He created us and decided our
heart is where He wanted to dwell)
the sanctuary, O Lord, Your Hands established. (we are the work of His Hands, His building)
