Dream Interpretation

BLUE

 What do you see?

1. Why do you think God is sending you dreams?
2. Is there someone in whom you may freely discuss your dreams?
3. How could someone help you interpret your dream?
4. What would you like to see happen with your dream life?
5. Are you praying over your dreams?

Interpretive Questions
1. How did the dream leave you feeling?
(e.g. happy, disappointed, warned, compassionate, anxious,
    troubled, free, confused,prayerful, merciful...?)

2. What was the Setting of the Dream?
    a. What are you trying to understand in life?
    b. What is currently going on in your life?
    c. What have you been praying & seeking God about?

3. After the dream, did the dream happen in the Actual or
is it more metaphoric or symbolic?  Is it exposing
    something, where is it pointing?

4. Symbols may be: objects/people/animals/directions

5. What does the dreamer associate with the symbol?
For example, when my sister is in my dreams she
reminds me of the education system or learning
because she is an Assistant Principal.  Sometimes
the dream will be about her but usually refers to
something that is being learned or taught.  Ask
yourself, when you think of an animal what does it
make you think of?  A golden retriever may make you
think "nice," "loyal," "good family dog."  This is how
you can understand what symbols in your dreams
mean.  What does that thing mean to you when you
think about it in real life?  What does it remind you of?

6. What is the dream for?  The motivation?
    a. Foreknowledge? - to use for prayer, thanksgiving,
to share a word of wisdom or
                                 knowledge with someone?
    b. Warning? - to repent for sin, intercede for the lost,
intervene to lessen something like a
natural disaster or better, prevent it?
    c. Reflection? - are you processing your thoughts,
desires, fears, problems, of that day?
    d. Ordinary? - no real meaning, just mumbo jumbo?
    e. Dangerous? - it's time to deal with something and
there can be no more procrastination!
    f. Revelatory? - to share Truth, advance Father God's Love

7. What/Who is the one main message of the dream?

8. What is your assignment?  Pray? Asking Father God to
reveal His Will.  Forgive?  Are you to share something?
Who do you bring life to?  When the dream is scarry,
who do you bring the life to?  Ask the Holy Spirit and He
will give You Father's will on what you are to do.

(Thanking my deceased sister Gabrielle for this, she once said to me, "If there's anything you want to know, just go to the library, there'll be a book on it."  My sister's I.Q. was 180 and i'm still amazed by it.  She didn't have too many good stories to say about her life so wherever there is a place to honor her in truth and remember how she helped me by saying this, it feels good to share.  It makes me feel and hope that you will see something good about her so when the day comes that you learn something bad about her, maybe you won't think she is so bad.)

Interpretation can mean many things but what is most important is are you trying to get someone to
Father God?  or away from Father God?  It is not important to fight about interpretation when the action that follows your dream have sought to restore something/someone back toward Father God.  Father is Relational with us, He communicates to us in individual ways that we understand and process data.  I am not a simple person.  My thoughts are deep.  So Father gives me deep stuff to think about because He knows me.  He knows i'm no better and no less than anyone.  He allows us to exist the way He made us.  He is All in all.  He fills All things.  He has ALL the people to keep track of and communicate with, He LOVES them ALL, so it's not good to reduce ourselves by fighting about what the interpretion says when it's good to see what happened in Life before the dream, what happened to expose and reveal something from the dream, and what was the course of action taken after the dream, and, if the course of action was LOVE and pointing the Main Message of the dream back toward Father God, then LOVE was at work and the motivation would be LOVE because God is LOVE.

No matter what dream you have, find out how you can bring love into it for Love conquers all things.
